This special collaboration between Sneaker Politics and Asics pays homage to the shop’s founder Derek Curry’s military service. This is done by dressing the Gel Lyte 3 in colors nodding to his military uniforms. The sneaker starts off with an Olive Green canvas base paired up with tonal suede overlays. Contrast comes by way of the Black Tiger Stripes, while the military-style “POLITICS” badges on the lateral ankle give the sneaker a unique aesthetic. A closer look unveils tear marks on the toes revealing the United States flag along as well as “P” branded heels and co-branded insoles.
