BAIT x Asics Gel Lyte 3 - Nightmare

BAIT is getting ready to breath some much needed life into the 25th anniversary celebration of the Asics Gel Lyte 3. The sleek and smooth silhouette has already released a number of collaborations this year, but this latest one with BAIT may be the best yet. This “Nightmare” colorway will mark the 4th release from their “Models” project that has been hugely successful. This GL 3 features Tilapia skin suede in combination with Scaled reptile suede. A rich full-grain leather that has been imported from the tanneries of Japan covers the vamp and formstripes. The tongue is then split between black and silver wire mesh that are underlaid by BAIT branded reflective 3M panels and a black leather inner liner. Other really nice details include the white midsole that has been hit with black speckling, translucent outsoles with BAIT and ASICS branding and leather insoles with dual branding as well. The BAIT x Asics Gel Lyte 3 “Nightmare” will come with three different lace options: Silver 3M, black waxed rope, and black waxed flat. The shoes will release September 26th at all BAIT chapter stores via LIVE in store raffle on the day of the 26th, and online will be limited pairs via online raffle for $200.
