hanon x Diadora V7000 - Tuscan Racer
This hanon x Diadora V7000 Tuscan Racer consists as the latest collaborative efforts between the Scotland-based retailer and Italian sportswear label this Fall 2016. Paying tribute to Italy’s passion for road cycling and ‘Celeste’ mint green — an iconic color instantly recognized via the bike frames of the world’s oldest cycle company –the sneaker’s build is essentially parallel the attention to detail and craft of Italian-made road bikes from the 70’s and 80’s with Italy’s world renowned production of leather footwear. Utilizing the finest materials and workmanship, the V7000 hosts a premium build of super soft kangaroo leather, pigskin nubuck and old-school mesh. The upper is a rich blend that depicts Celeste mint green, while the cream and white overlays mimic the white-walled tires and handlebar tape of the iconic racing bikes. Additionally, lux leather laminated footbed with printed racing stripes, alongside branding is featured via the retailer’s flame logo screened on both tongues, as well as dual branding embroidered on opposing heels. Final details consist of soft microfibre fabric applied to the collar lining and a 3M reflective underlay on the side stripe. Each pair will be equipped with additional lace sets, a bespoke shoe box, tissue paper and a special edition dust bag.
