Jaden Smith x New Balance Vision Racer ReWorked

New Balance and entrepreneur and environmental champion Jaden Smith look to push the boundaries for sustainably-led footwear with this “ReWorked” iteration of the Jaden Smith x New Balance Vision Racer. The first of its kind in the Vision Racer collection to be crafted with recycled materials, the sneaker merges classic New Balance design with Jaden’s unique, bold and fashion-forward aesthetic. The upper canvas is coated in a TPU that contains re-grind spekcle made from scrap TPU, the midsole contains a 5% EVA regrind, alleviating a potential waste stream and the Spinnex material in the upper and the tongue contains 74% SPINNEX fiber, 16% recycled polyester and 10% Spandex. New Balance’s Spinnex material incorporates factory waste cut offs into a new usable material.
