Jordan Brand’s 30th anniversary wouldn’t be right without a plethora of Air Jordan 1 releases.  The newest colorway set to release is the Air Jordan 1 “Shattered Backboard.” The sneaker is inspired by a Nike Exhibition game in Italy back in 1985 where Michael Jordan actually shattered one of the backboards.

The colorway comes from the Orange and Black jersey Michael was wearing during the game.  One special feature the sneaker also has is a shattered backboard graphic on the sneaker’s insoles.  Complete with White accenting throughout including the midsole, the Air Jordan 1 “Shattered Backboard” is definitely something to lookout for.  Rumored to release May 23rd, let us know what you think of the sneaker below!

Author’s Take:

There’s something about these sneakers that keeps me interested in them.  I normally don’t like the color Orange, but these make it work!  The insole and backstory makes these even more dope.  If they’re not limited, I hope I get the chance to cop!
