Last year’s KD signature, the Nike Zoom KD 4, was one of the best in the signature’s history. People were lined up for every single colorway. At many stores even the home and away colorways were gone. The contruction of the shoe was amazing. The low top and narrow silhouette lent itself to a wide range of possibilities. Some of the best colorways in the recent history were given to the KD 4. Kicks like the “Weathermans“, the “Nerfs” and definitely the “Aunt Pearls“. The APs were sneakers that not only looked great but were for a great cause and carried a great theme.  Dedicated towards breast cancer, the KDs hit home for sneakerheads on several different levels. And surprisingly the vivid pink didn’t steer away fans. So we decided to do a SneakerFits for this great shoe.

The pink shoes are gonna be the draw. Its so bright and eye popping thats its impossible to miss, but the pearls on the back are connotative of class that gives the shoe a great look for a classy type casual. So on the left side we went with that. For a classy type casual we went with a polo. Nothing says classic like a polo shirt (mind the lowercase “P”). The green matches great with the pink and is the right hue to not over power the kicks. Keeping it classic we also went khaki colored chino (white chino shorts could also be dope). And for weather’s sake we have pictured an essential: the denim jacket. For headgear the hat is also eye-popping, creating a nice top and bottom aesthetic.

For the right side we kept with our summer beach or pool trend that we’ve been on for a bit. Its summer so it just makes sense. I’m not sure how much validity in the whole “wearing black makes you attract heat” thing but a couple more degrees wont kill you. So we went with a predominantly black look. For the trunks (you can wear them as shorts too) we went with a popular gold on black type look. The accents also match greatly with the kicks. Up top we went pocket tee, pretty straight forward. And a hat that has some pink to match the kicks. Also in case it rains or theres a hurricane of wind storm or something we tossed in a black windbreaker for good measure. For those who have the KD 4 “Aunt Pearl” call yourself lucky, and tag your outfits with #sneakerfits.
