Nothing grips the people like a red shoe. There’s something about the color red that sends a sneaker into overdrive and literally makes people see red. Just look at the Nike Air Yeezy 2 “Red” or the tonal Air Jordan 9 “Motorboat Jones”. Red is the most popular color in kicks. A few years back Jordan dropped a pack which is still coveted today. The sneaker that got the most publicity was the “Raging Bull” Air Jordan 5, and it still gets sneaker fans excited. Fast forwarding to the present we found that the Raging Bulls would have a little brother releasing this year known as the Air Jordan 4 “Toro Bravo”. And once pictures started surfacing sneakerheads weren’t disappointed. Well now the time is here and its the day before release day. Some are camping, some got tickets, some are going to attempt TLOs. And if you’re like me what to wear with the kicks is heavily on your mind. Well look no further. We got a SneakerFits for you to help you out.
Let’s start off with the shoe. The Air Jordan 4 is one of the most popular models of the Jordan signatures. It’s great for fashion purposes. The long tongue makes for a great place to tuck jeans, the smooth round toe box is classy, and the angular shapes still make it casual. The Toro Bravos are already going to pop because of the colorway so we chose to not throw too much red in the left outfit. We went with a neutral camo pair of shorts and up top we went with a grey tank top. For those who don’t know, a grey shirt/tank/button up is one of the greatest pieces of clothing a person can posses. Its crazy versatile and can fit with any color scheme. The tank also has black accents to match the kicks. For the headgear we bought the red back, trying to not be too red’ed up. No one’s trying to be out here looking like Elmo…….but trust me you’ll see it.
For the right side we did introduce some more red into the outfit with the red tank top. It also has a grey and black graphic on it which directly match the accent colors on the kicks. Down low we have a pair of flush black jeans. Stay away from black jeans with tan pleats for these. A colored pleat adds another color dynamic that might throw things off. For the hat we did black but we chose a hat with a white pattern to switch things up a bit and liven up the outfit. Remember you can sub any of these items for longer or shorter substitutes. These kicks are already fire so make sure your fit is fire too. Tag your outfits and the “bravos” with #sneakerfits so we can see what you rocked with them. We’re gonna be checking. No bull (get it? no bull…..Toro means bull. No?). Anyway good luck grabbing them.
