The Air Jordan 7 (VII) Retro – White / Varsity Purple – Flint Grey were released on April 22, 2006, and retailed for $135. They are probably one of the nicest of the Air Jordan 7 (VII) line-up, as they feature a white leather upper with grey suede inserts, which contrasts so much that they catch your eyes. The midsole features black and white accents, and the outsole is grey. The history of the Air Jordan 7 (VII) is interesting, as the lines are inspired by an African Art poster that Tinker Hatfield purchased in Portland, Oregon, which further shows how he a design genius, with the ability to be inspired by almost anything. So, the Air Jordan 7 (VII) is influenced by Western African tribal patterns, which were on the poster.
