In a galaxy far far away.. okay maybe not that far away but still pretty far Vans is taking off for another out-of-this-world collaboration. The Vans x Star Wars collection features a six-piece lineup of instant classics plastered with original artwork from the Star Wars trilogy. Celebrating the great success both these brands have experienced while seemingly tying them together into one great masterpiece of art, kicks, and film.
Van’s introduces two colorways of Authentics featuring Boba Fett and Stormtroopers, picturing a stealthy camo as well as a high contrasting all black and white classic take on Darth Vader and the empire. The second style mashes Stormtroopers and bandanna print which surprisingly blends quite nicely. Yoda brings balance to the Force with special takes on the Authentic and Sk8-Hi reissue, lastly a new take on the Vans Classic Slip-On featuring the 1977 poster artwork from Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope.
Young padawans can enjoy this collection as well with kid and toddler-sized shoes featuring the Yoda-inspired art and comic-book graphics as well two kids-specific Stormtrooper and Darth Vader prints.
With less than 300 pairs of each being produced these will be in limited available to only six exclusive retailers across the globe including the Vans DQM General, Vans by OTH, Colette, Firmament,Opening Ceremony’s Los Angeles and New York locations.
