Unreleased Nike Zoom Vick 5 - Black/ Red/ Cement

Here is a look at something else that won’t be hitting the shelves: the Nike Zook Vick 5. It was originally set to be released on August 23, 2007, but due to Michael Vick’s dogfighting charges, Nike decided to terminate his contract. They stated that cruelty to animals was inhumane and unacceptable. It was rumored that once Vick was cut, Nike would send the unreleased sneakers to their outlet stores, but they have insisted that it won’t happen. Instead the Boys and Girls clubs received the shoes, and the rest were shredded and added to the shredded pile of material which will be used to build basketball courts and playgrounds.

However, we were able to obtain photos of Michael Vick’s unreleased Zoom Vick 5. They feature a black/ red/ cement colorway, a first by Nike, who has never used cement print on any shoe within the Vick shoe line. the pics we have posted allow you to get an up-close look at the shoe, and view all of the details that you could not see in catalog pictures.
