“We are the University of Nike,” Jeff Hawkins, University of Oregon’s senior associate athletic director of football administration and operations told the New York Times. “We embrace it. We tell that to our recruits.”

The New York Times delivers all the details on the university’s newly unveiled football center  paid for by Phil Knight, a founder of Nike and an Oregon alumnus. We’ve long lusted after the fresh gear Nike designs for the Ducks, but there are levels to this. And this football center is at the top floor, penthouse suite. It’s luxurious. Like, imagine if Diddy designed it.  There are hand woven rugs from Nepal, Italian couches, Brazilian hardwood and walls covered in Nike football leather. Did I mention the duck pond and the barbershop?

The Ducks are definitely just doing it. Catch the full story and a photo gallery at the NYT.
