It’s already hard enough getting a pair of certain Jordan retros over other customers. Imagine competing not just against other customers, but also against employees at retailers with Jordan accounts? Its been said that Shoe Palace employees have been accused of partaking in some suspicious activities for monetary gain, and Twitter was not in the mood to let it slide.
Although it’s still purely speculation, it’s said that Shoe Palace in Montebllo, CA has certain employees hooking up a couple customers with not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, but what appears to be around 7 pairs of the Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” earlier today. Although this isn’t considered “news” in the sneaker world, it has also been said that employees from the same store told customers who called in regarding the shoes that they wouldn’t even have the Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” in stock.
Like everything this story will probably have two versions of the truth, and hopefully time will tell what’s really going on, but if this story is in fact true, that’s not a good look for Shoe Palace. Speaking of the Jordan 1s, did you manage to get a pair? If so, how many of you got it from a Shoe Palace retailer? You know, just wondering…
