Well, if you’re going to lose, lose looking good, right, LeBron?

On Wednesday night, the Miami Heat would have their unbelievable 27 game winning streak snapped at the hands of a very game Chicago Bulls squad.   As it stands, they now own the second-longest regular season run in the history of the NBA, trailing only the 1971-72 Los Angeles Lakers who had 33 wins in a row.   For those who actually pay attention to basketball and don’t just get into stupid Kobe-LeBron or Jordan-LeBron arguments, this was a historic stretch that will take a while before it is ever replicated or surpassed.

And in that time, we as fans of NBA Kicks have been treated to phenomenal array during the past month and a half.  Thanks to two signature athletes in LeBron (Nike) and Dwyane Wade (Li-Ning), a top-flight Nike star in Chris Bosh and the greatest Jordan Brand athlete of all-time in Ray Allen, there was rarely a night where all four did not bring something dope to see on the floor.  So in honor of the Heat’s amazing accomplishment, here is a look back at the 27 best kicks we saw during their winning streak…
