Andrew Wiggins is the truth.  Well, that’s what many people are saying about the nation’s top prospect, drawing comparisons to another ballyhooed high school kid ten years ago named LeBron James.  While Wiggins has a long ways to go before he can even attempt to live up to the hype, one thing we can talk about with some authority is the heat on his feet.  Kicks on Fire contributor David Jacobson has scoured the depths of Google Images to find the best kicks Wiggins has rocked so far in his short time in the spotlight.- Juan

Although Andrew Wiggins may have waited until the last minute possible we now have an answer to the most infuriating and lingering question regarding the nation’s top prospect.

After much speculation and as to where he would end up – North Carolina, Florida State, Kentucky and Kansas were all strongly in competition with one another – the Toronto-born Wiggins has finally found a home.  Starting in the fall, the former Huntington, VA prep star will be lacing up for Bill Self and the Kansas Jayhawks.

As a sneakerhead, his commitment means one thing and one thing only:  The nation’s top prospect will be exclusively sporting Adidas when he hits the hardwood come November.  Will he chose to go with next year’s Derrick Rose signature model? The Crazy Lights?  Crazyquicks?  So to hold you over until then we’ve decided to highlight some of the future No. 1 NBA draft pick’s best sneaker moments to date.

It’s only fitting that with all the talk about Wiggins being the most coveted high school prospect since Lebron that he’d be caught rocking the kicks of the universe’s best player.  These days you can’t step onto a court that doesn’t have at least one dude rocking The King’s royal footwear.  Plus, he looks darn good in them. Believe the hype.
