Renowned for their high-octane offense, led by Stephen Curry, the Golden State Warriors have been generating high ratings all season. Unsurprisingly, ticket prices for the Finals are skyrocketing and have completely out-priced Finals tickets from the past few seasons. It’s worth nothing that the Warriors haven’t won an NBA Championship in 40 years, while the Cavaliers still seek their first, following a loss to the San Antonio Spurs in 2007.
Prices for each game are already averaging more than $1,000 — up from the average ticket prices sold during 2013 (about $500) and 2014 (around $600). Check out the chart above for a complete comparison, as well as the matchup breakdown between the West’s Golden State Warriors and the East’s Cleveland Cavaliers.
If you aren’t rooting for either team, it’ll be a great matchup nonetheless.
