The sneaker community was hit with a a big shakeup today as three world class designers from Nike have decided to take their talents over to The Three Stripes.
Adidas has been adding an influx of talent to their roster with recent signings of Kanye West, Pharell, and Nigo, but this trio might be the biggest addition yet.
Marc Dolce, Mark Miner and Denis Dekovic are all moving on from the Swoosh and have decided to join adidas. The trio will begin their transition in 2015.
In case you didn’t already know, Marc Dolce is a famed and seasoned footwear designer who has designed many great shoes for Nike including the Nike 1/2 Cent, Nike Barkleyposite, Nike Air Penny and many more. Mark Miner is the creative behind the Nike Free Run series in addition to other contributions. Last but not least, Denis Dekovic is known for his contributions for players on the pitch with the Nike Magista and Nike Mercurial football boots that were one of the Summer’s biggest hits.
This is a HUGE power move by adidas to say the least that will gain more traction and popularity for the brand.
What do you think of this move made by adidas? Are you excited to see what they have planned for 2015?
