The Nike LeBron 12 “Rubber City” is finally hitting retailers later this month. If you’ve been thinking about passing on the beauties; think again. The pays homage to LeBron’s hometown of Akron. Known as the “Rubber Capital Of The World,” the nickname refers to Akron leading America’s rubber production during the late nineteenth century.
The Nike LeBron 12 “Rubber City” sports a Black on Black appearance featuring a Rubber tire tread motif throughout the upper. Adding to the sneaker’s attention grabbing design is a Metallic Swoosh on the side, and an icy Blue sole. Finished off with an interesting Diamond/Paisley graphic on the insole, the details of the Nike LeBron 12 “Rubber City” are amazing.
If you’ve been eyeing the Nike LeBron 12 “Rubber City,” you can cop a pair April 25th for $250 at select Nike retailers.
There’s something about these photos of the Nike LeBron 12 “Rubber City” that make these look really dope! Previous photos didn’t really attract my attention, but these instantly drew me in.
The overall design/concept is something different, but I like how Nike is pushing the limits of some of their sneakers.
I won’t be copping, but if they ever drop below $250 I’ll definitely consider it!
