Have you ever heard of the Reebok Aztec? It’s retro runner from Reebok that made its debut way back in 1979. Now it’s back and better than ever.

Looking at the Reebok Aztec we can tell right away that this model was created in the early days of sneaker history because of the design and the materials used. Reebok actually released a hybrid version of this shoe a couple of years ago known as the Reebok Aztec Flex Racer that had a more modern look and upgraded materials. This time around we get the real thing with the return of the 1979 classic. This specific colorway features blue on the majority of the upper with green, white and red detailing serving as a nice contrast.

Scoop up this Reebok Aztec at select Reebok retailers next month and add some retro flavor to your collection of runners.

Author’s Take

This Reebok silhouette is a little too retro for my liking. I like that Reebok revived this retro runner, but I think today’s sneakerheads won’t be too excited about its return.
