It doesn’t really matter what colorway the adidas Originals Superstar is dressed in, a classic is a classic. But when it comes in such a timeless combination like white and royal blue, it makes you want to scoop up a pair A.S.A.P. Rocky.
I’m positive that this colorway has been made over and over in the past, but just like we see recurring colorway of the Nike Air Force 1, it never hurts to see the same colorway on the classic shelltoe either. The majority of this Superstar is covered in White leather while Dark Royal Blue lands on the Three Stripes branding and the heel tab. The midsole and shelltoe have been done in an off-white to give the shoe an “aged” look. You can find this colorway of the adidas Originals Superstar at select adidas retailers this Summer.
The shelltoe is the definition of a classic, so as an L.A. native when I see it dressed in white and royal blue, I automatically make the connection with the Dodgers. These would look sick with my personalized Dodgers jersey that’s sitting in my closet.
