The Nike Air Tech Challenge 3 will be making its debut in 2015, and we have already seen the newest Andre Agassi signature sneaker receive a lifestyle makeover.
Following in the footsteps of the Air Force 1 Mid, Air Foamposite One and the more recent LeBron 12 EXT, the Nike Air Tech Challenge 3 will be joining Nike’s growing list of performance shoes that are given the ‘Wheat’ or ‘Timberland-boot’ treatment. Here we get a first look at the new Nike silhouette with a full wheat suede upper and dark brown accents on the ankle and the lower and upper eyelets. Round boot laces have also been included to make sure the ‘boot’ theme isn’t confused.
What’s your take on Nike using the ‘wheat’ theme on a lot of their sneakers lately?
The ‘wheat’ theme/colorway has been used by Nike a little too much. I get trying to give a lifestyle look to some of the more popular sneakers, but how about staying away from performance kicks and using it more on lifestyle silhouettes?
