Earlier this year we saw the release of the highly expensive Air Jordan “MTM” Pack.
Celebrating the 30th anniversary of Jordan Brand, this pack designed by Mark Parker, Tinker Hatfield and Michael Jordan consists of the Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 29. The Air Jordan 1 is constructed of a full Flyweave upper, that is typically used on the Air Jordan 29, and the Jordan 29 is made up of a full leather construction that we see on the Air Jordan 1. If you spend $700 on some shoes you would like to think that they’re made correctly right? Not all the time. A man purchased the “MTM” Pack at NikeLab 21 Mercer in NYC and it turns out that the pair of 29s has 3s on both tongues instead of a two on the tongue of the right shoe and a three on the tongue of the left shoe like it’s supposed to.
To top things off the guy decided to keep the kicks instead of getting his money back. These are extremely rare though so they may be worth something down the line.
