One of the most popular colors of the Air Jordan 12 is slated to return in 2016. Already having received the news that the “French Blue” and “Varsity Red” colorways were gonna return next year, we’ve now learned that the Air Jordan 12 “Flu Game” will also be making a comeback.
The Air Jordan 12 “Flu Game” is recognized for the time that MJ wore them during Game 5 of the 1997 NBA Finals against the Utah Jazz. Michael put up 38 points and lead his team to a victory while suffering “flu-like symptoms.” Whether that was the case or not we’ll probably never know. Featuring a black-based upper and Varsity Red accents, the last time that we saw the “Flu Game” 12 was back in 2009. But it didn’t really live up to the hype because it was constructed of a nubuck upper and had details of the game on the heel.
In one of the pictures above we can see a toddler size of the “Flu Game” colorway along with two other pairs of 12s that may also be releasing in 2016. One in white and pink for the girls and the other in a North Carolina-inspired colorway.

I was already planning on picking up the “French Blue” Air Jordan 12 and now Jordan Brand is making it hard for me to choose. I may have to go after both.
