Yesterday news surfaced that a new Air Jordan 10 “City” Pack was expected to release in 2016. One of those cities expected to be represented as part of the pack will be Charlotte, North Carolina.
Michael Jordan played college ball at UNC and is now the owner of the Charlotte Hornets, so it makes perfect sense to include the city as a part of the pack. The other cities that are rumored to be in the pack are New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. We may have already gotten a sneak peek at the “Charlotte” colorway of the Air Jordan 10 last year though. In 2014 Michael took over the Hornets’ Instagram account and posted this picture of a bunch of his signature sneakers dressed up in Hornets colorways. Front and center we see the Air Jordan 10 that features a white leather upper with purple and teal accents.
It’s still not confirmed on whether or not this will be the actual retail release, but if it is we can expect them to arrive at retailers in the Spring of 2016.
I’m not really a big fan of the Air Jordan 10, especially in colorways that are harder to match up with like this “Charlotte” version. I’m gonna have to pass on these.
