Continuing the celebration of 30 years of the Air Jordan 1 and Jordan Brand will be the return of the Air Jordan 1 KO in the classic “Bred” colorway.
Set to release on August 8th for a retail price of $160, the Air Jordan 1 KO “Bred” comes with a full canvas upper in Black and Varsity Red. The toebox, Swoosh checks and ankle support are all done in Varsity Red while the rest of the upper comes in Black. The rubber midsole has been done in White to add some contrast to the shoe with the outsole also being in Varsity Red. “NIKE” branding has been added on the tongue along with AJKO written on top of the wings logos by the ankles.

I’ve always been pretty salty that I missed out on the Air Jordan 1 “Bred” when it released in 2013, but I’m not willing to settle for the KO. I’ll just wait until it releases again and hopefully I’ll have better luck next time. This looks more like a Nike Vandal than a Jordan 1 to me.
