In 2008, the 25 year old Benjamin Clymer launched Hodinkee and the site quickly gained notoriety for earnest looks at some of the industry’s most interesting, and occasionally forgotten, timepieces. Hodinkee is now one of the most widely read wristwatch publications in the world. Hodinkee is now teaming up with Autodromo, a racing-inspired company that also typically focuses on premium vintage-style wristwatches. But brands will venture outside of their comfort zones to unveil a pair of sunglasses called, “the Stelvio.” The frames are composed of quality amber acetate, contrasted nicely by polarized cognac tinted lenses to protect the eyes. Limited to just 50 individually-numbered pairs, The Stelvio sunglasses are available for $349 USD on Hodinkee’s website and will begin shipping next week.
