Lifestyle sneakers, as many people call a particular style of kicks, is nothing we haven’t seen before, but they can be hard to classify. The best way I could explain it to someone who doesn’t know the difference between a LeBron James signature shoe and an NSW release is if a shoe is built for use in everyday life, but is not targeted as a sports sneaker, then it’s a lifestyle shoe. Each big sneaker brand today is releasing lifestyle shoes, with some that are even based on the ones we see on an NBA court, and with each newer generation of lifestyle sneaks they become better and better looking and more acceptable to the sneakerheads of the world. Hype doesn’t play much part in selling lifestyle shoes with some notable exceptions and there isn’t a huge resale market like they basketball shoes we love and adore. However, they are very stylish and keep you comfortable no matter what you are doing and you know ten people aren’t going to bug you and ask where you got them.
