Run The Boroughs x New Balance 576

London-based active club Run the Boroughs has linked up with New Balance once more to release a collaborative iteration of the New Balance 576 that celebrates the annual TSC London Marathon. For a few years now, Run The Boroughs has become a dedicated community of runners open to all levels of ability. The crew’s camaraderie extends into a genuine social and support network, helping New Balance to connect into the local community in a truly authentic way. The Made in UK Run The Boroughs x New Balance 576 comes dressed in a Green-hues upper consisting of suede mudguards and heel counters contrasted by the Grey mesh underlays said to represent London’s concrete buildings. A lighter shade of Green is used on the medial panels, ankle area, and rear tabs, while the “N” branding on the side panels is done in a dark shade of Green with White leather outline. Other features on the sneaker include the Grey rubber heel guard embossed with New Balance branding along with fuzzy pigskin tongues that come with interchangeable patches with compass-like directions that are a nod to different areas across London. Lastly, the sneaker is given a White midsole atop a track-ready Gum rubber outsole.
