The limited edition Nike Zoom Vapor Tour 9 “Wimbledon” Banned was released a few weeks ago, and Team KoF Dylan Chateau grabbed a pair. Though this iteration of the Zoom Vapor Tour 9 was crafted uniquely for Federer, the sneaker became worldwide news after the first match.
As it turns out, the Wimbledon dress code doesn’t allow for much expression, forbidding participants from wearing dark, bold and fluorescent colors. While the predominately White upper was ideal, the All England Club just couldn’t deal with Nike and Federer’s choice to use Total Orange and banned the shoe from Wimbledon. Rumored to be limited to only 1200 pairs, Dylan was extremely lucky to grab a pair!
