Polish professional footballer, Robert Lewandowski, who plays as a striker for Bayern Munich, is on a record goal-scoring pace — tallying 100 Bundesliga goals faster than any foreign player to date. To celebrate this feat, an exclusive iteration of the Nike Hypervenom 2 is presented to Lewandowski.
Boasting a classic two-tone color combo of Red and Black, the model is inspired by Lewandowski’s lethal and fearless approach, while also incorporating fiery graphics that connect to his past.
“Every time I step onto the pitch, I know that I have to prove myself. Having these Hypervenom made just for me is a true recognition and inspiration,” says Lewandowski. “Fierce, demanding battles await us and it is very special to have these boots full of personal and meaningful symbols to mark this important time of my football life”
A notable detail on the silhouette is an Eagle, which is essentially a principal element of Polish visual identity. From his hometown of Warsaw, Poland — “Semper Invicta” (Always Invincible) — is applied on the model. Furthermore, Lewandowski’s personal logo, jersey number and a judo belt that pays tribute to his father rounds out the overall unique design.
Unfortunately, this variation of the Nike Hypervenom 2 will not be available to the public.
The only cleats I’ve adored are the Air Jordan iterations. Design-wise, the Hypervenom 2 is pretty nice as well. I’m not a soccer fanatic, but this exclusive variation for Robert Lewandowski is really appealing.
