According to TMZ Sports, it appears that Nike has decided that they WILL NOT be matching the deal that adidas made to James Harden last week.
It is being reported that Nike did not want to spend so much money (13-year $200 million is what adidas offered Harden) on one player when they still have several other players that they also want to sign.
Harden has not officially signed the adidas deal, but with Nike backing out it’s pretty much a done deal.
What do you think about Nike deciding not to match the offer made by adidas? Did they make the right move by letting him walk? And how big do you think Harden can be for the Three Stripes?
