According to ESPN’s Darren Rovell, adidas has offered NBA superstar James Harden a 13-year, $200 million endorsement contract to leave rival Nike.

After having an MVP-like season in 2014-15, Harden’s contract with Nike has recently expired and now is the time for other players (companies) to make a run at him. With adidas already endorsing other players like Derrick Rose, John Wall and Damian Lillard, James Harden would give them that super caliber player that they’ve been missing for and were hoping to get in Rose. If Harden were to stay with Nike he would most likely be their third signature player behind LeBron and KD, and if he were to move to adidas he would automatically become the star of their roster.

So now the ball is in Nike’s court. Will they let Harden walk like they did Curry and regret it almost immediately after, or will they offer the 25-year-old star a bigger and better contract than adidas?  Nike has until the end of next week to match the deal or lose him.

What do you think Nike will do?
