Following a quick teaser just a few days ago, the Premier x Nike SB “Fish Ladder” pack is now officially revealed.
Highlighted by the Dunk Low and Stefan Janoski Max alongside complementary apparel, the overall theme of the line is essentially derived from the salmon, as suggested from its official moniker. Known for its persistence to travel miles upstream, this migratory process of the salmon is shared with the primal instinct of skateboarding, as a nod to the uphill battle of busy streets.
Overall, both sneakers incorporate a premium composition that evokes the fish. The toe area is shaded in pink and detailed with a contrasting graphic to exhibit the salmon’s composition, while a premium leather overlay in contrasting Black is comprised with a scaly texture. Additionally the application of smooth suede helps to solidify its overall build as well. All resting atop a clean White midsole unit and clear salmon outsole, the sneakers are topped off with matching Black laces and distinctive tongue tab branding.
An accompany range of apparel and skateboard deck will also coincide with the release. Retailing for $100 (Dunk) and $125 (Janoski), look for the items at Premier on Saturday, November 14th.
Overall, I’m a fan of both models. I like the theme as well and the color combination/material makeup is pretty appealing. Out of the two, I’d have to side more with the Dunk.
