To follow-up on a teaser, official images of the END x Saucony Grid 9000 “WHITE/NOISE” are finally revealed.
Taking its cues from analog tv terms, the theme consists of a random Black/White dot pattern of static displayed when no transmission signal can be obtained by an antenna receiver. Now absent in the digital age, this nostalgic element makes a return on the popular low-top silhouette. Overall applied on the sneaker’s upper, composed of wool and ballistic nylon, the components are shaded in varying tones of grey with subtle hits of White.
Contrasting touches of Bleached Aqua adorn the tongue, portion of its vamp, outsole and inner bootie construction to give an appealing combination. Furthermore, 3M reflective rope laces, custom insoles and branding to the lateral side panel finishes off its details. You can find this pair exclusively at END starting Saturday, November 7th.
View my take here. I like it better without the Aqua accents though.
