Chinese New Year is only a couple weeks away, and it seems like just about every sneaker brand is in a festive mood as they’re all releasing commemorative sneakers celebrating the lunar holiday. The latest brand to get in on the mix happens to be Reebok with the Reebok Insta Pump Fury Road Year Of the Monkey.

The Reebok Insta Pump Fury Road Year Of the Monkey pays homage to the new zodiac animal that represents those born in the years 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004 and 2016. With February 8th marking the beginning of a new year for the Fire Monkey, the shoe takes advantage of the occasion and releases a Year Of The Monkey inspired shoe. The shoe comes in a black upper covered in a white geometric pattern that is meant to represent the face of a monkey. In addition to the geometric look on the upper, the shoe will also come with red accents that symbolizes luck in Chinese culture. White hits appear on the midsole as well as the Reebok branding placed throughout the upper. Available now, pick up your very own pair at select retailers today.

I like the geometric pattern on the upper, and the red hits placed on the heel give the shoe a nice pop to the shoe. Dope way to celebrate Chinese New Year.
