We’ve seen sneaker companies sign music entertainers for years, but for a while, the trend seemed to die down.
It was recently resurrected when Swizz Beatz came together with Reebok, and since then we’ve seen rappers including Rick Ross rock kicks from Reebok Classics.
Puma is making its way into the mix, as it has just signed rapper Meek Mill. The new deal will coincide with the launching of the “Be the Next Dream Chaser” contest that will allow an aspiring artist the opportunity to hit the stage with Meek Mill.
