Packer Shoes is teaming up with Ewing Athletics to bring you these luxurious and clean looking pair of shoes , dubbed the “Fame and War” Pack. The collaboration will use the Ewing 33 Hi silhouette and we couldn’t be more intrigued by the first looks of the “Fame and War” Pack. The collection will consist of two colorways of the Ewing 33 Hi, a black pair and a gold pair. Both shoes are said to be inspired by rappers Fabolous and Teyana Taylor, in which Ewing Athletics are also working with.
Teyana Taylor is represented in the gold pair of the pack, and judging by the first looks of it, the pair is loud and definitely speaks for itself. Sporting a metallic gold upper adjoined with black accents and translucent gum outsole covered in yet more gold flakes. The shoe has nice detailing all over it, including the Empire State Building logo on the tongue, custom lace locks and even a set of gold plates on the heel reading “NYC” on the left shoe and “33” on the right. The second pair has a black upper and is represented by Fabolous. The pictures above only seem to show Teyana’s pair and not so much of Fab’s. The only shot of Fab’s pair seems to show that it has a “Gucci” feel to them as they seem to be using the same colors from the world renowned luxury brand. The black based shoe also features gold accents and and include Packer Shoes branding on the sides where the “Patrick Ewing” signature usually lies.
Both pairs look very intriguing, and the Packer Shoes x Ewing Athletics ‘Fame and War’ Pack first impressions are off to a very promising start. No release date as of today, but keep it locked, once more information is available, we’ll be sure to let you know.
