Last week we gave you a first look at the Air Jordan 29 “Year of The Goat” and now a week later we have official images of the sneaker that is scheduled to release on February 18th.
This Chinese New Year commemorating sneaker is definitely the most interesting colorway of the Air Jordan 29 that we have seen to date. The woven upper of the shoe looks like the bottom of an ocean and there is an explanation as to why water was used. Water has a deep connection to Chinese roots, culture and astrology so Jordan Brand wanted to create something traditional. Not only is 2015 the year of the goat, but many people also call it the year of the ram and sheep. Multiple shades of blue, which is being called “Water Project” covers the upper that looks like it was painted on. Blue Force, White and Black accents cap off the shoe along with a translucent outsole.
The Air Jordan 29 “Year of The Goat” will arrive at select Jordan Brand retailers in limited quantities on February 18th for $225. Are these on your must-have list?
