Diagnosed with a brain lesion at only seven years old, Isaiah Neumayer-Grubb’s parents found out that the best way to break the news to him was to draw inspiration from his hero Batman. The Nike Zoom Stefan Janoski Doernbecher designed by Isaiah features a hidden Batman logo on the upper than only appears when it hits the light. Isaiah’s name appears on the midsole along with the words “Fighter”, “Freedom” and “Believe” in the shoe’s insoles.

Author’s Takes:

Juan Martinez, Editor-In-Chief: I mean, it’s Batman so of course it’s going to be great. While designed by a child, I can imagine a lot of adult Batman fans loving this shoe because they can wear it without having to deal with judgmental people. This is my favorite from this year’s collection.
