Nike is paying homage to the roots of the Air Force 1 with the release of the Air Force 1 Low Upstep Uptown Pack. The reason the Nike Air Force 1 is known as the Uptown is because back in the days sneakerheads would take the uptown subway line in New York to the stores where the shoes were sold. This Air Force 1 Low Upstep Uptown Pack features two colorways of the modified silhouette designed exclusively for women. Coming in options of University Red and Black, each pair features a full leather construction with an oversized contrasting arrow in white pointing at the collar as a nod to subway signs. Additional details include "UPTOWN" written on the heels, graphic insoles, and a marbled outsole on the black/white pair.
