Although it was initially announced as a collaboration with Thailand-based skateshop Preduce, this latest Nike SB Dunk Low is a nod to the Melbourne-based store “Fast Times” instead, which significantly inspires skateboarders, musicians and artists alike through a creative culture that was erected since 2008.
Noted as Fast Times’ first collaboration with Nike SB, the classic and versatile low-top silhouette inherits a design invigorated by skating culture, particularly the word “hesh” that’s viewed as a derogatory term and essentially means not to care. Comprised of bold Black synthetic leather overlays across its sleek upper, bleached denim underlays juxtapose the composition, while acting as a notable focal point.
Complemented with White hits adoring its heel tab, laces, Swoosh and midsole that’s adhered to a gum outsole, finishing touches include Nike SB and “Fast Times” branding on the tongue tabs, in addition to its insoles. Retailing for $105, find the Nike SB Dunk Low “Fast Times” at select Nike accounts on February 28th.
