Following a recent classic option in Black/White, the Nike Metcon 1 is introduced in another new colorway this season.
A silhouette that’s designed for high intensity workouts overall, the streamlined and low-top model offers superb support for running, jumping, lifting and cutting movements. For this particular pair, the model flaunts a bold, yet understated color scheme. Black is implemented on the tongue, toe box and vamp portion, while a distinctive desert-like camo motif adorns the sicklier and collar section. Bright hits of Orange adorning the Flywire, Swoosh branding and heel area further pronounce its profile overall.
All resting atop a gum sole unit to coordinate nicely with its distinctive colorway, the sneaker is topped off with more Orange accents on the tongue tab via branding, as well as two-tone flat laces. Retailing for $130, you can find this rendition of the sneaker at select Nike retailers starting December 14.
Although I don’t own a pair, I appreciate the design overall. This colorway is appealing and the most I like about it are its gum soles. I’m over camo prints, but this model should garner attention from its fans.
