Kyrie Irving hasn’t stepped foot in an NBA game this season due to the fractured kneecap that he suffered in game 1 of the Finals last season. So while we wait for Kyrie 1 get back to 100%, we continue to look at what is believed to be his 2nd signature shoe with Nike.
The first time we saw the Nike Kyrie 2 was in a crimson/black colorway. Now the silhouette has popped up again but in a completely new color option. This new Kyrie 2 features a black and green glow color scheme that makes the shoe look a lot different from the first crimson pair that we saw. A heavy dose of black is seen on this colorway with green glow detailing covering the branding, underlayer, and outsole.
I didn’t really like what I saw with the black/crimson colorway, but I have to admit that this green glow options looks a lot better. I’m usually not the type to like straps anywhere on my shoe but the strap on this Kyrie 2 gives the shoe a unique look. I look forward to seeing more colorways.
