Following the inaugural Nike Kobe 11 Achilles Heel, the next variation of Bryant’s last on-court sneaker will celebrate Black History Month.
Officially introduced earlier today, this BHM edition of the model is essentially a tribute to the central role and achievements of African Americans in U.S. history. Dressed in a bold and subdued finish, Purple is predominant across the frontal portion of its upper, while the defining multicolor finish is evidenced across its side panels, while it fades to black on the rear.
Further detailed with the recognizable sheath logo on the tongue tab, more black accents on the inner lining, tongue and laces, the sneaker is topped off by clean hits of white provided by the large Swoosh branding and sole unit.
Look for this limited edition pair at select Nike stores on January 18th for $220.
