Nike Kobe 11 Achilles Heel is set to drop in a little less than three weeks. With this being the last Kobe signature model that Kobe Bryant will actually wear on the court, you can expect a lot of attention being placed on the shoes, no matter what colorway it comes out it. This first release/colorway happens to have a double meaning as it pays homage to Achilles, the Greek god as well as Kobe Bryant’s season-ending surgery back in 2013.
The Nike Kobe 11 will come red and black Flyknit constructed upper, where red is predominantly found on the front and black is placed on the back. Gold hits are placed on the Kobe logo on the tongue, while the Nike Swoosh on the side panels come in black. The heels of the shoes will come with four lines that represent four stitches on one shoe, and the head of the Achilles god on the other shoe. Under the upper, you will find the shoe come equipped with Lunarlon and Zoom Air technology to give you that exceptional comfort and support. Said to be releasing January 9th for $200, let us know what you think about this Nike Kobe 11.
I really like the gradient effect this Nike Kobe 11 comes in. The red to black transition is dope, so are the stitches and Achilles logos placed on the heel of the shoe. Great work.
