Over the last couple of weeks we’ve gotten a few different looks at what was believed to be the next installment in the “What The” Nike Kobe series. It turns out that all of those “leaked” images that we saw were indeed pictures of the real thing because Nike officially unveiled the sneaker today.
Nike decided to go with the high-top version of the Nike Kobe 10 Elite this year again just like they did last year. Last year for the Kobe 9 Elite What The we saw the shoe take on a predominantly white Flyknit upper with less color detailing than we expected. This year however Nike decided to give us lots of color as we see hits of red, green, blue, purple, and black throughout the silhouette. The official colorway is listed as Mult-Color and Reflect Silver due to the Swooshes which look like they have 3M on them.
Are you happy with the way the Nike Kobe 10 Elite What The turned out? If you would like to pick up a pair you’ll be able to do so on December 30th for a retail price of $260.
After having huge success with the first couple of Nike Kobe What The colorways which were low-tops, I’m not sure why Nike has switched over to high-tops after the response that they got last year. I’m sure if these were Elite Lows they would sell out almost instantly.
