Nike Kobe 10 Elite High - Commander

In less than a week from today we’ll be seeing the release of the next Nike Kobe 10. This time it’ll be the Elite High silhouette, something that we haven’t see too much from since it’s debut earlier this year. This colorway that releases on October 14th is being known as the “Commander” colorway and draws on Kobe’s admiration of our country’s commander-in-chief, Barack Obama. Kobe doesn’t only look up to Obama because he has some serious hoop game, but also as a person. The colors of Black, Metallic Silver, Blue Lagoon and Volt are taken directly from Obama’s Honolulu high school. The patch on the tongue also takes inspiration from the Seal Of The President of The United States mixed in with some Nike Kobe influence.
