Following a first look a week ago, additional images of the upcoming Nike KD 8 BHM are provided, which is part of the Swoosh’s celebratory “Black History Month” collection that debuts this month.
Black History Month, is an annual celebration of achievements by black Americans and a time for recognizing the central role of African Americans in U.S. history.
This special variety of the silhouette flaunts a Blacked-out upper with the defining tribal detailing implemented on its tongue and Swoosh logo in shades of red, green, blue, yellow and orange. Further complemented with matching laces, the model rests atop a clean white midsole unit with multicolor speckling that corresponds to its respective theme.
All adhered atop a blue icy translucent outsole component, other notable markings include a slogan that reads ‘Power of One’ on the insoles. You can find this pair at select Nike accounts starting January 23rd. Stay tuned in to KicksOnFire for further updates.
Aside from its respective theme, this iteration of the model is pretty nice. I like the overall palette and that tribal detailing was applied on the right areas. Subtle but still bold.
