No sooner than the U of M Hyperdunks appear online do we get a glimpse of another PE form St John’s. Like the U of M PEs, these Hyperdunks are issued specifically for the players.
The uppers of the shoe relies heavily on the St John color scheme, red/black so the first thing you notice is the bright red. However, after further inspection, you see the black used on the midsole and on the shoe’s lining. The St John’s Red Storm logo can be found on the front of mesh tongue, and the founding year, 1870, can be found on the reverse. Another interesting feature of the shoe is the gradient that exist within the Flywire. It stars as a deep redish-black color in the rear and transitions to the bright Red Storm red by the time we hit the front panel. The St. John’s Red Storm will open their 2010 Big East Tournament schedule at Madison Square Garden tonight. So do you guys think these look better than the U of M Hyperdunks?
