The Nike Hyperdunk first barged onto the scene two Summers ago, when Los Angeles Lakers Superstar Kobe Bryant made a video supposedly jumping over an oncoming Aston Martin vehicle. The video quickly became a phenomenon, as questions poured in as to whether it was real or fake.

Well, Nike has decided to use the video as a platform and inspiration behind this pair of Nike Hyperdunks, of which only 500 pairs have been created.

The shoe sports a reflective silver leather construction on the toe and midfoot, while flywire graces the side panels in a dark grey colorway. Red leather is used on the shoe’s inner lining, while the inside of the tongue sports a patch with Kobe’s signature on it. They are slated to officially release later on this Spring, but you can pick up a pair now at OSneaker.
