Nike recently had a presence at Black Hat, a convention rallied around online security and data protection. So just what was the swoosh doing there you ask?Well that is still pretty unclear but one source has deduced that with their push towards software and away from wearables they are probably trying to preemptively beef up security.

The swoosh brand apparently had a VIP after-party with a hand selected guest list that was based solely on job title and your willingness to speak with Nike representatives during the event. As the consumer all this boils down to is that Nike cares about protecting your information beforehand and not figuring it out as they go along.
